This is my life motto.
Former intern Ed comes in with Danger Punch to discuss their upcoming book project
Oh look! The love of my life & two of my favorite Portland dudes.
Also, look at all that plaid!
Ok, so I changed my mind. Instead of the red sofa, I got this one. I also got the matching love seat. I think it’s far more practical, especially for when I move to a much smaller apartment in either New York, Seattle, or Chicago like I have dreams of doing one day. Who knows where I’ll end up, but I can tell you one thing, I’ll have this sofa in tow.
Over four years ago I bought this sofa. So much has changed since then- I graduated college, started dating Ed, got married, moved to Portland & here I am, still sitting on this sofa.
“My local library branch started doing this “Blind Date with a Book” thing, thought you guys might like it. The shelf was full when we got there, but was like this as we were leaving. The books are wrapped in paper and have different designs on them, and then a few words vaguely describing the subject matter of the book. Things like “Drama”, “Plot Twists”, “espionage”, etc. The only thing exposed on the book is the barcode that you use to scan the book out. I thought it was a pretty cool idea.”
I love this idea! I wish I were still a librarian.
And if you don’t like abortion
Don’t have an abortion
And teach your children
How they can avoid them
But don’t treat all women
Like they are your children
Compassion has many faces
Many names
And if men can kill and be decorated
Instead of blamed
Then a woman called upon to mother
Can choose to refrain.
