I keep looking at photos of puppies online to cheer myself up. It’s much better than what I was doing before, which was drinking… alone.
Today was one of the worst days I’ve ever had. I went to the funeral of a 2 year old. He was Ed’s ex-girlfriend’s nephew. Ed was with her for 4 years & he was even there when the little boy was born. She invited me to go, so I went with Ed for support. Being surrounded by her family & friends was stressful, to say the least, but nothing could be worse than the overall situation. It was a baby’s funeral. We didn’t even go up to the casket because it was just too much. I wish his family the best & I can’t imagine how they feel. It’s just devastating.
This has ended the worst week I’ve had it quite awhile. I wish I could explain it fully, but I just can’t. There’s so much that just doesn’t make sense.

I went shopping with my mom today. It’s the first time we had done anything, just the two of us, for a long time. I had a really great time & even got some Christmas shopping done.
It was a great start to the new week because last week was nothing short of horrendous.
My mom just tried to talk to me about my pubic hair.
Why? Why? WHY?
This is all that you need to know, probably a bit more: I believe that everything happens for a reason. I check Postsecret religiously. I'm an art education major. I have the past 6 years documented chronologically in scrapbooks. Zombies fill my dreams. I want to backpack across Europe & take a road trip out west. I am pro-choice. I analyze everything and everyone & it makes me feel overwhelmed on a daily basis. I cuss like a sailor, but I'm a children's librarian. I don't go to church because I don't believe in organized religion. My mom is one of my best friends. I really wish people wouldn't litter, be racist, or listen to ICP.
