What's Working Right Now
Since I’ve been struggling with depression, cooking everyday has helped me tremendously. Cooking, baking bread, or even just shoving ingredients into a crockpot makes me feel… better. My First Valentine's Day as a Married Woman
No gifts were exchanged. We didn’t make cards or go out to a fancy dinner. At first, I felt bad that neither of us actually thought about what we were going to do until the day before. Because I’m not a daily smoker, cigarettes are great for my anxiety because, unless I’m drunk, they make me so nauseous that I can’t concentrate on anything except how sick I feel.
So that’s where I’m at right now, at 24. Smoking cigarettes behind my car and thinking about dry heaving in strange parking lots because that’s a lot easier than dealing with uh, being alive.

I just got another job!
I’ll be subbing at the school I teach daycare at. I’m so excited to have more money & to get some more experience under my belt. I’m slowly moving closer & closer to my dream job.
It also really boosted my confidence. The best part is that two teachers at the school actually told me to apply, which really made me feel great. I feel like I’m doing something right.
