This is one of my very favorite outfits I’ve designed. Audrey Kawasaki is also one of my favorite current artists, so I guess it makes sense. I started designing this outfit around the skull hair piece. I found this perfect necklace & I’m so happy with it. Next, I added the blouse because it matches the background. I paired it with this tan skirt from Ralph Lauren & this adorable pink belt. The pink flower earrings were picked because they match the hair piece. The purse is not only cute, but it also has a wood grain texture, which I love! It goes so well with the artwork. My favorite thing about this outfit is how the necklace looks with an outfit that’s over-the-top cute. It’s a great combination.

I have a new blog that I’m really excited about. It’s called Thread & Canvas. It’s where my two loves- art & fashion will combine. Not only will I merge clothing & artwork, but I’ll also mix high fashion with bargain brands & art from the canon with lesser-known artifacts.

This is going in my future art classroom along with a few of the others on Refinery 29. How perfect are these for an elementary art classroom? I’m so excited about decorating my future room.
